Arcy Muñoz is the Community Relations Manager for Houston First Corporation (HFC). HFC is leading the effort to promote Houston as one of the great cities of the world. HFC operates the city’s convention, performing arts facilities, and promotes Houston as a world-class destination for tourism and conventions.
She works with various public and private entities in the region and develops strategic social investment activities to enhance the HFC brand and reputation while advancing the company’s business goals. Her work focuses on social investments and corporate in-kind opportunities.
Muñoz oversees the Community Relations Program, which includes policy development and strategic planning. Additionally, she serves on the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans 50th Anniversary Committee, Houston Public Media’s Young Leaders Council, the Board of Directors for Women Professionals in Government – 1st Vice President, the Board of Directors for Leadership Houston XXXVIII – Class Chair, Central Houston’s Young Professionals (CHIME), Houston Hispanic Chamber’s Emerging Leaders, Class III and Leadership Houston Class XXXIII. She has served as a 2016 NCAA Final Four Community Relations Committee Member and the 2017-2019 Board of Directors for Latin Women’s Initiative – Public Relations Chair. Ms. Muñoz was honored at the 2016 KNOW Autism Foundation Gala and has received the Woman of the Year Award in Community Relations from Solo Mujeres Magazine, the 40 Under 40 Award from the Houston Business Journal, named a Role Model by The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, received the POWER Link Award from the Power on Heels Fund and featured in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Go Tejano Committee Fashion Show and fundraiser.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Park University and previously worked for the Mayor and City Council in El Paso, Texas.
